Welcome to Valnöt & Kaprifol!
We are a youth and family hostel (in Swedish "vandrarhem").
The hostel is situated in Hammenhög, close to road no 9 between Simrishamn and Ystad and 9 km from the sea.
Our hostel has 23 rooms with 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 beds (in total 54 beds). All rooms have private toilet and showers in the corridor.
Guests have access to self-catering kitchen facilities at no extra charge. You can make your own meal or breakfast, but if you prefer we also serve breakfast buffet.
In summertime we have restaurant and café in the house.
Sheets, towels and cleaning are not included in the prices. You can of course rent sheets and towels if you do not bring your own.
Each guest must clean his room to the satisfaction of the next guest. You can also pay for cleaning services.
Price single room 300 SKR
Price double room (each person) 260 SKR
Price family room (3, 4 or 5 persons)
220 SKR adult 100 SKR children
Breakfast buffet, 60 SKR adult, 30 SKR children
All prices include VAT and taxes.
We accept SKR in cash and of course you can pay with credit card as well.
Check in time: 6 - 7 pm and checkout time is 12.00
A cancellation should be done at the latest 6 pm the day before the planned arrival, if not anything else has been agreed upon.
If a cancellation is made later, you will be charged for one day. This is also the fact if you don't show up at all. If you have
made a reservation for a certain time period, but depart before the end of that period, you have to make the same payment as for a
late cancellation. In other words, pay for another day.
Valnöt & Kaprifol is a member of SVIF, 200 independent hostels in Sweden which have no membership requirement.
Valnöt & Kaprifol is open all the year round.
Nearest airport is 70 km - Malmö/Sturup.
The local bus no 570 stops in Hammenhög 200 m from the house.
